South Korea approves increased London flights

South Korea has allocated traffic rights for six additional weekly services on the Korea-London route to Korean Air and Asiana Airlines. The country’s Ministry of Land, Transport & Maritime Affairs offered five weekly services on a year-round basis, and one extra weekly flight available during the winter season only. Korean Air was given three year-round flights, while Asiana was offered the remaining two annual services and the extra winter flight. Currently, Korean Air operates seven weekly flights between Seoul and London, while Asiana operates five during the summer season and four in winter.
