Greece tourism arrivals grows, Athens buses to offer WiFi

International tourism to Greece has increased 9.52% in the last six months, according to the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises. More than four million overseas tourists are said to have visited the country with arrivals increasing 15% during June alone. Brits and Germans continue to be the top markets, followed by Italians, Swedes, Russians and Israelis. Meanwhile, Yiannis Ragoussis, Greece’s minster of infrastructure has announced that Athens’ public buses are to offer free Wi-Fi soon. The KTEL Attikis company is also trialling the service onboard its Athens-Thessaloiki-Athens route to encourage more inter-city bus travel.
