Greece taxi service suspended, says FCO

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has warned that taxi services in Greece have been suspended following ongoing strikes in the country. Taxis had previously blocked access to Athens airport and cruise port this week, which the FCO said could continue. In addition, it warned that travellers should expect regular strikes which can be called at short notice. Tourists have also been told to avoid large crowds and demonstrations in Athens.
