Gulf Air changes customer loyalty offering

Gulf Air has launched a new marketing campaign to focus on its new commercial initiatives and Bahrain homebase. The promotion will include new products such as packages specifically for families and a new loyalty programme for business travellers, named Falcon Corporate Plus. The airline will also create an incentive scheme for small and medium sized businesses as well as revamp its Frequent Flyer programme with new privileges and benefits. “The time has come for us to focus on our customers’ needs and increase our commercial efficiency through aggressive sales and marketing in order to make Gulf Air a sustainable and ultimately, a profitable airline,” said Karim Makhlouf, chief commercial officer at Gulf Air at a recent press conference. “Therefore, we conducted an extensive survey to understand our customers’ needs and more importantly, how to win back their business.”
