Royal Caribbean unveils action-packed campaign

Royal Caribbean is to focus on its onboard activities in its latest marketing campaign, the cruise line has revealed. The autumn promotion, named ‘Pack More into Your Holiday’, will showcase the activities and experiences available on the company’s ships. To mark the new promotion a travel agent incentive has been launched with the chance to win a place on a VIP fam trip to Dubai in December. This will include a day onboard Brilliance of the Seas, a desert excursion, a tour of Dubai and accommodation in a leading hotel. Point of sale, bunting, badges, balloons, flyers and desk cards are available for agents to aid sales and the cruise line has also released a range of deals to support the campaign. “Last year sales in late summer and autumn for Royal Caribbean International were healthy. As well as including tactical pricing offers to drive sales, we’re also gunning for improved agent and consumer awareness as to just what a holiday with Royal Caribbean International includes,” said Jo Rzymowska, associate vice president and general manager of Royal Caribbean International UK and Ireland. “The new ‘Pack More into Your Holiday’ campaign is designed to make agents reappraise their idea of who might choose a cruise, and encourage them to sell more holidays at sea”. To enter the draw, agents must confirm a booking on a 2011 or 2012 cruise between now and 26 August 2011.
