Cox & Kings hails Burma relaunch a success

The relaunch of Cox & Kings’ tour to Burma has been hailed a success after it became the top-selling holiday in its Far East portfolio. The Burma tour, alongside the tour operator’s Grand Tour of Indochina, Spirit of Vietnam and Ancient Kingdoms of South-east Asia holidays now account for 25% of the brochure’s sales. “We are delighted that our programme to Burma has been so well received and it has sold so well in its first year,” said Yaow Butwisate-Lok, Far East product manager at Cox 7 Kings. The announcement comes as the company launches its Far East brochure for 2012, which includes four new river cruises, a new 16-day/13-night Cambodia tour and more tailor-made options following a growing trend for independent travel.
