AITO receives positive feedback from joint conference

A survey of AITO and AITO Agents delegates from its first joint conference has shown positive feedback to the event. Of the total delegates, 65% approved of the combined format, which could be repeated for next year and matched AITO’s aim to provide closer integration and communication across its members. In addition, members were said to be surprised by host city Vilnius and 25% said they will now sell the Lithuanian city. “The feedback from delegates who attended the first joint conference in Vilnius was overwhelmingly in favour of us keeping the same arrangement,” said Derek Moore, chairman of AITO. “We decided upon Vilnius because it has a similar ethos to the kind of holiday or service typically offered by AITO operators and agents – something unique, special or relatively unknown,” added Oliver Broad, chairman of AITO Agents. “We felt as if we were helping to unveil a secret destination to many of our delegates and the wonderful feedback from them demonstrates just how impressed they were”.
