Costa Cruises has revealed its itinerary programme for 2012 including those for new ship Costa Fascinosa. The new ship will sail two mini cruises in the Mediterranea, the first departing from Venice on 2 May 2012 to visit Dubrovnik, Capri and Savona. Its second mini cruise will depart from Savona on 7 May calling at Corfu, Kotor and Venice. Costa’s neoRomantica, which rejoins the fleet after a renovation this winter, will sail a 11-night Canary Islands cruise and will then operate 14-night itineraries in Northern Europe. Across the programme, the cruise line has included more itineraries to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe for next year following increased demand. These include fly/cruise itineraries in the Aegean Sea from Rhodes, a new Dalmatian Coast itinerary and seven-night cruises to beach destinations such as Costa Smeralda, Ibiza and Palma. The programme also features increased visits to Israel, the Black Sea and Portugal to replace the Egypt callings. It has also pulled its 10-night Egypt cruises and replaced these with already existing itineraries to Lisbon and Casablanca. The cruise line has also replaced its Tunis calls with Cagliari. New long-distance cruises have also been added.
