Turkish Airlines resumes Libya flights, bmi to follow next month

Turkish Airlines has announced it is to resume flights to Tripoli and Benghazi next week, while the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) still advises against travel to the country. Flights to Benghazi from Istanbul will recommence on 13 September four times a week, while Tripoli services will operate four times weekly from 24 September. Meanwhile, bmi’s website states the airline will recommence services to Tripoli from 30 October. Passengers are still unable to book BA flights to the Libyan capital.
