Demand starts early for Olympics air charter

Bookings for air charter flights during the Olympic Games have already started at Air Charter Services (ACS), more than 11 months before the games start. Despite hotel occupancy still registered at less than 10% for the Olympics period (see TDUK 07/09/11), ACS said several travel agencies and event organisers had contacted them in time to budget for 2012. “We have four offices in Europe as well as a further ten on other continents. With our head office and large team in London, we are really focusing on what we can offer fans, sponsors and teams wishing to travel to the Olympics next year,” said Francois-Xavier Camus, commercial jet director at ACS Paris. “I know that our offices in Germany and Spain are liaising with their clients as well”.
