Employers need to be aware of their social conscious and thework/life balance if they are to attract the best applications in recruitment,a new survey has suggested.
Findings from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, World TourismForum Lucerne and the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) will berevealed at the latter’s conference in Paris on Tuesday by PwC partner CharlesDonkor.
In his speech, Donkor will discuss how employees are looking at morethan their salary and require guidance, frequent feedback and to be recognisedfor hard work. “Employees today want to work for companies thatare socially conscious and value driven,” said Donkor ahead of his speech. “Althoughsalary is still ranked top for importance it is not enough anymore as employeesstrive to achieve a greater work/life balance”.
