National Trust highlights Britain’s best walks

The National Trust will host its first ever Walking Festival later this month, with the aim of encouraging people to explore some of the UK’s most scenic areas.

Between Saturday 22nd and Sunday 30th October, 150 National Trust properties around the country will offer guided walks or trail maps for visitors, as well as information of upcoming events and activities for kids.

Locations of the walks include the White Cliffs Walk in Kent, hikes around the woodlands of Wallington in Northumberland, and a more leisurely stroll around Cornwall’s Trelissick Garden.
