Galapagos arrivals to be capped

A limited number of tourists will be able to visit the Galapagos Islands from February due to new sustainability regulations.

New rules from the Galapagos National Park Authority mean clients will be able to stay a maximum of four nights and five days per cruise ship on the islands, with four landings permitted within a two week period.

It will open up ports on Santa Fe and Tagus Cove islands to redistribute where tourists visit and smaller vessels will be able to call at Espa
