Emirates has announced it will add a third A380 service fromHeathrow to Dubai in January. Three of the airline’s five daily flights fromLondon will operate with the superjumbo from 24 January and replaces its Boeing777.
“Given the popularity of Emirates’ A380s, I know this news will be wellreceived by our customers flying between London Heathrow, Dubai and beyond,”said Salem Obaidalla, SVP commercial operations, Europe and Russian Federationat Emirates. “As these magnificent aircraft continue to join our fleet, we canoffer more seats and choice in and out of high density points, while enabling agreater number of passengers to benefit from the Emirates’ A380 experience”.
Emiratesoperates 105 flights a week from the UK and also placed an A380 its tripledaily Manchester service last year.
