China Southern boosts Australia

China Southern Airlines is increasing direct services to Melbourne and Brisbane and commencing flights to Perth. Services between Guangzhou and Melbourne will increase to double daily from 31 October before settling at 10 flights a week from 15 February 2012. In addition Brisbane services will from three to four flights from week at the end of October. New services from Perth to Guangzhou, which continue on to Beijing, are scheduled to start on 9 November.

China Southern plans to more than double capacity between Australia and Guangzhou over the next two years.
