Emirates is bringing forward its first daily A380 service to Germany. The Dubai-based airline will commence A380 flights to Munich on 25 November, nearly five weeks earlier than expected. The double-decker jet was originally set to replace one of two daily services to Munich from 1 January 2012.
“Emirates is the first foreign carrier to bring the A380 back to Germany, said Salem Obaidalla, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Europe & Russia. “After further reviewing our forthcoming A380 deliveries and expected demand, we have decided to bring forward its deployment to Munich by more than a month, which is excellent news for one of our most important markets.”
The A380 will depart Dubai at 0910, arriving in Munich at 1245.
