Routes Asia 2013 will be held in Mumbai with Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) being the host airport for the the event. The annual event organised by UBM Aviation focuses on airline route development in the Asian region.
“We at MIAL are pleased to note that CSIA has been selected as the host airport for Routes Asia 2013. Besides being one of the busiest airports in South Asia, CSIA has also emerged as one of the most significant aviation hubs in the region given both the increase in passenger traffic and number of carriers flying to Mumbai. The choice of CSIA as host airport also helps to reinforce its position as India’s foremost airport at the cutting edge of comfort, technology and design,” said GV Sanjay Reddy, Managing Director of Mumbai International Airport.
This year’s Routes Asia was held at Seoul’s Incheon airport, and in 2012 it will be hosted by Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in southwest China.
