NACIL proposes fleet replacement

The National Aviation Company of India Limited (NACIL), which was formed after the merger of Indian Airlines and Air India, is proposing to eliminate the deployment of foreign pilots for its B777 type aircraft as well as decommissioning all Airbus A320 fleet more than 15 year-old. The company plans to phase out 30 such aircraft initially and induct seven B787s.
