Accor’s MGallery property, VIE Hotel Bangkok, recently took part in the ‘Hug a Tree’ reforestation campaign.

In coordination with Accor’s environmental strategy, Planet 21, the hotel invited hotel guests and members of the public to spread their love for the environment by photographing themselves hugging Ms Pinutda Tanaboonroeng, the hotel’s attractive ‘human tree’.

Donations of THB100 (US$3.20) were collected from each participant, with the total funds raised going toward tree-planting in Thailand’s Khao Yai National Park.

Accor has already planted two million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the UN.
