India to develop cruise infrastructure at Mormugao

India will develop, facilitate and improve cruise infrastructure at Mormugao in Goa. The Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) recently constructed two new cruise berths with a length of 450 meters and 250 meters for the berthing of cruise ships.

 “The newly constructed cruise berths will commence its operations from October 2012 and will offer exclusive entry and exit gates,” G K Vasan, Minister of Shipping for India informed the Rajya Sabha.
