Asian travel search engine, Wego, has appointed PRC Interactive (PRCI) to assist its marketing and distribution efforts in mainland China.
PRCI will focus on developing marketing and social media campaigns relating to launch of Wego’s new Chinese language site, wego.cn. The site gathers content from a range of local online travel agents, including Ctrip and eLong.
“Given the size and complexity of China, it is appropriate that we recruit a specialist agency to advise on content and refine our techniques around acquisition and retention. There is a clear demand for travel search for flights, hotels and deals so we look forward to working with PRCI to meet it,” said Dean Wicks, Wego’s Chief Marketing Officer.
