World Travel Holdings UK subsidiary SixStarCruises.co.uk will publish a 500% increase in revenue, it has announced.

The company, which specialises in luxury cruises, has seen significant investment and additions to its team after a cash injection from the deal with World Travel Holdings last year.

Director and Cruise News contributor James Cole said that the demand for luxury cruises had never been higher: “We have experienced this success by educating our customer about the many benefits that an ultra-luxury cruise has to offer, particularly from an all-inclusive perspective, meaning that there’s often no bill to pay at the end and cruisers can enjoy smaller ships offering a more personalised service and outstanding facilities.

“Our focus on outstanding customer service through our highly skilled team of cruise concierges means we have been able to effectively convert customers that may have originally thought ultra-luxury was out of their reach. As a result, many come back to us to book again and again after they have seen first-hand what a luxury cruise holiday has to offer.

“Our average booking value is more than GBP8,000 – which shows that the top end of cruising is booming and exceptional customer service is absolutely key to ensuring this trend continues.”
