The Rimba Jimbaran Bali has officially opened its doors in Bali.

The resort, which is managed by the Capella Hotel Group, is set among eight hectares of forest, within the grounds of its sister property, Ayana Resort & Spa.

The name Rimba is Indonesian for ‘forest’, reflecting its woodland setting. And the property will use its natural surroundings to grow produce for the hotel’s restaurants. A jogging track also allows guests to exercise among the trees.

Facilities at the 282-room hotel include six multi-tiered swimming pools, which are lined by pool access rooms and a swim-up pool bar. F&B outlets include Bali’s first Ah Yat Abalone seafood restaurant, a roof-top poolside bar plus an all-day restaurant, coffee shop and bakery.

As well as pool access rooms, the resort offers a range of rooftop spa rooms, which offer treatments from Ayana’s Thermes Marins Spa. There is also a kids’ club and Wi-Fi is free throughout the resort.

The next stage in this evolution is the opening of this new hotel, Rimba, which has its own story and unique experiences to offer guests,” Schulze added.

Guests at Rimba will also have access facilities at the Ayana, including seven restaurants, a spa and the MICE facilities.
