Travel Daily Media Group is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new daily e-magazine to serve the world’s fastest-growing travel market – China.
Launching today, on the auspicious date of 8 October 2013, Travel Daily China has been developed in partnership with Shanghai-based Travel World China, in response to the growing interest in Travel Daily’s news from the Chinese market. The new publication is designed especially for the Chinese-speaking travel trade. Published from Monday to Friday, Travel Daily China will cover a wealth of news from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, along with key global stories, all written in simplified Chinese.
The e-magazine will also be backed up by a new Chinese-language website, www.traveldailychina.com, which is expected to become a key resource for the Chinese travel industry.
“The 21st century is China’s century, and its tourism industry is becoming one of the world’s big success stories. China is now the world’s biggest outbound tourism market in terms of visitor spending and the country is expected to generate 100 million international tourists by 2020. Its domestic tourism sector supports almost three billion annual trips. These figures are simply staggering, and show how much potential China’s travel industry has to offer. Travel Daily Media is excited to become part of the country’s incredible success story, and we are delighted to have such a strong partner in Travel World China,” said Gary Marshall, managing director, publisher and editor of Travel Daily Media Group.
Lin Yu, managing director & publisher of Travel World China, added; “This new partnership is a win-win for the Chinese travel industry. The daily PDF format of the Travel Daily China e-magazine is a unique proposition, and I am confident it will be extremely well-received by the Chinese travel trade. The combination of Travel World China’s local knowledge and expertise, combined with Travel Daily Media’s technical experience, is sure to make Travel Daily China a success.”
Travel Daily China will become the fifth title in the Travel Daily Media stable of e-magazines, following Travel Daily Asia, Travel Daily UK, Travel Daily India, Travel Daily Middle East and Cruise News UK by Travel Daily Media. It also marks the company’s first non-English language publication. For further information on the publication or to subscribe, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
