Abu Dhabi Airports and Avaya recently announced the signing of a ten-year partnership to enhance the company’s customer-facing and internal workforce capabilities across its operations.

The partnership sees Abu Dhabi Airports deploy Avaya solutions for IP telephony, video collaboration, and contact-center technology across its airports and organizations.

This new technology will look at increased performance while also reducing costs. Avaya will also be introducing its solutions in video collaboration, which will enhance internal and external communications.

Tony Douglas, CEO Abu Dhabi Airports said: “Timely, reliable and cost-effective communications are integral to an airport, and Abu Dhabi Airports’ growth strategy considers these essential factors.”

The new ten-year framework agreement will offer Abu Dhabi Airports an opportunity to work with select Avaya’s partners throughout UAE to provide services and solutions.

Nidal Abou-Ltaif, vice president of Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India, Avaya, said: “With a custom-built solution for each client, Avaya can help companies like Abu Dhabi Airports get most out of their communications infrastructure which is critical for growth.”
