ENAD TANNOUS has been appointed general manager at Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach – Dubai. He brings with him over 21 years of experience within the hospitality industry. Enad joins the team from InterContinental Aqaba Resort where he was general manager too. In his current role, he will manage the day to day operations, taking an active approach towards leadership.
ERIC MELOCHE has been appointed executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai. He moved to the UAE, bringing over 10 years of Ritz-Carlton experience. Taking on the role as executive chef of The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, he currently oversees the property’s culinary operations, including the La Baie Lounge, Pan-Asian restaurant – Blue Jade, Italian restaurant Splendido as well as the Middle Eastern fare – Amaseena.
TIMUR ILGAZ has been appointed general manager for Al Ghurair Rayhaan & Al Ghurair Arjaan by Rotana Dubai. He brings with him over 27 years in the hospitality industry. As general manager, he will be responsible for directing overall management and working hand in hand with the management and operational teams of Al Ghurair Rayhaan & Arjaan by Rotana and the Al Ghurair management owning company.
STEPHEN MANNIN has been appointed manager of THE DEK at the Media One Hotel. He has previously worked as a food and beverage manager at Nikki Beach & The Beach House Hotel where hes set up and opened five venues. Stephen recently joined Media One from Mallorca, Spain; but he has lots of experience in restaurants and bars in UK.
RUSSEL STOREY has been appointed general manager for The Jordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea Resort & Spa. He is a veteran hotel operator with a comprehensive Food and Beverage background and experiences spanning from South Africa, UK and Middle East, both in Jordan and Egypt.
DAVID DOCTOR has been appointed vice president, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Amadeus. In his new role, Doctor will lead commercial activities in Amadeus’ home Western European markets as well as in growth markets of the Middle East and Africa.
CHEF SAMEH AWAD YOUSSEF has returned to Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha as executive chef. He was part of the hotel’s opening team. He brings with him over 15 years of experience in the UAE hospitality industry. Chef Sameh is known for developing and launching new menus and recipes.
CHUCK KAZMER has been appointed executive chef at Four Seasons Amman. In his new role, he will be overseeing all of the hotel’s food and beverage operations that include Olea, Asia, Vivace, The Square Bar, The Foyer Lounge as well as in-room dining.
PREETI GUPTA has been appointed executive housekeeper at Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha. She brings with her extensive hospitality experience spanning 23 years across India and Africa. Prior to joining the Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha, Gupta worked with The Leela Palace Kempinski Hotel in New Delhi.
FARES YACTINE has been appointed general manager at Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche. He brings with him 13 years of hospitality experience in the Middle East. In his new role, Yactine will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property.
RAMI SAYESS has been appointed regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Doha. He has also worked with Movenpick Hotels and Resorts in Beirut and Kuwait and Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Bahrain.
