Cyprus is keen to develop the Indian market.
The tourism board has appointed Buzz Marketing as their representative in India. “We want to focus on the incentive market, from the MICE segment and is also looking at the growing honeymoon and film locations market. There are 19 Indian restaurants in the country which should help us in attracting more Indians to Cyprus,” said Vassilis Theocharides, director of Cyprus Tourism.
The tourism board recently organised a road show in Delhi to promote the destination. “Cyprus can also be clubbed along with Abu Dhabi, Jordon, Greece and the cruises in Mediterranean, added Theocharides.
