Hilton has opened its first DoubleTree-branded hotel in the Chinese city of Wuhu.

The new DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu is a 26-storey hotel located in the centre of the city, featuring 442 rooms and suites, five restaurants and the city’s largest ballroom – at 1,000m² facility, complemented by a business centre and nine meeting rooms.

“We are delighted to introduce DoubleTree by Hilton’s first hotel in Wuhu, a city rich in culture and business potential,” said John Greenleaf, global head of DoubleTree by Hilton. “We look forward to welcoming guests both from within and from outside of China to experience our globally-recognised service culture.”

Located 4km from Wuhu’s railway and bus stations, and 120km from Nanjing Lukou International Airport, DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu becomes the brand’s 19th property in China, following existing hotels in Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Haikou, Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Kunshan, Langfang, Putian, Qingdao, Sanya, Shanghai, Shenyang, Suzhou and Wuxi.

Wuhu is located in eastern China’s Anhui province.
