Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’  ship Boudicca now features a coffee and chocolate shop, the first of its kind across the fleet.

Café Venus, located near the Library on Lido Deck 7, will serve a selection of speciality coffees and teas and luxury chocolates.

The café was installed during a refit in dry-dock, at the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, between 4 and 13 November.

The ship underwent a general refurbishment here, including the installation of the Morning Light Pub on Lounge Deck 6. Named after Fred. Olsen’s first ship, this joins the Neptune Show Lounge in the former Neptune Bar.

During the refit, preparations were also made to replace the poolside buffet area on Lounge Deck 6 which will be completed next year.

The new Grill will serve à la carte breakfast and lunch and will take bookings for dinner, joining the existing Four Seasons Restaurant, Tintagel Restaurant, The Heligan Room, and the Secret Garden Café.

The 880-capacity Boudicca will embark on 29 voyages in the 2014/15 season, from five different regional UK departure ports: Southampton, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Belfast and Greenock for Glasgow.
