Royal Caribbean will boost its presence in Australia and New Zealand during the 2015-16 season, with the deployment of its Explorer of the Seas cruise ship to the region.

The 3,114-passenger liner will join two other Royal Caribbean vessels – Voyager of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas – in Sydney for the company’s 2015-16 winter season. Reservations for the cruises open on 29 April 2014.

Explorer of the Seas will arrive in Australia following a 10-night Singapore to Perth voyage that leaves on 3 November 2015. It will then embark on a 16-night southern Australia and New Zealand cruise that arrives in Sydney on 29 November.

Once in Sydney, the ship will then spend November 2015 to April 2016 sailing a series of three- and four-night cruises to in Australia and 11- and 14-night voyages around New Zealand. It will then depart on 12 April for a cruise to Perth, before relocating back to Singapore.

The 15-deck Explorer of the Seas offers a range of amenities, including 15 F&B outlets, 10 swimming pools and jacuzzis, duty-free shopping, a theatre, casino, ice rink, mini-golf course, basketball court and rock climbing wall.
