Japan Airlines and Korean Air have expanded their codeshare agreement to include all routes operated by Korean Air between Japan and South Korea.

The two airlines have codeshared on various flights since 2004, but from 22 April 2014 onwards the agreement will cover all of Korean’s routes between three cities in South Korea and 14 destinations in Japan.

New services added to the partnership include daily flights on the Tokyo Haneda-Seoul Incheon, Okayama-Incheon, Fukuoka-Busan routes, thrice weekly flights on the Aomori-Incheon, Akita-Incheon and Nagoya-Jeju routes, and twice weekly flights between Oita and Incheon.

The two airlines will also codeshare on Korean Air’s new route between Sapporo and Busan, which will commence on 26 April, operating three times a week.
