InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched a new online resource designed to help hotel developers in Asia, the Middle East & Africa (AMEA).
IHG says the platform will help ensure consistent hotel design, reduce costs and risk, increase the speed of development and maximise revenue generating space in the hotels.
The platform is split into three key sections, including a guide to the design principles of the brands, a design “roadmap”, and a range of technical files and reference materials.
“The Build for Success model is our solution to developing even better quality hotels under both brands and will help ensure our hotels open on time without sacrificing quality,” said Khirstie Myles, IHG’s vice president of design & engineering for the AMEA region.
“We’re very excited to be introducing this new online platform and look forward to the great guest experiences it will help to create in our new hotels.”
IHG has 109 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels open across 27 countries in AMEA, and a further 89 properties due to open in the next three to five years.
