The new “joint research and development partnership” is aimed at integrating TravelClick’s Demand360 system with IDeaS’ Revenue Management System (RMS), so that subscription data can be transferred between the two platforms.
Demand360 is a market intelligence product for the hospitality industry that provides forward-looking reservation metrics and analytics by channel and segment. The new arrangement will enable subscribers to integrate Demand360 data into the IDeaS RMS, in an effort to optimise pricing and generate additional revenue.
“Integrating Demand360 data has been one of the most popular requests at our user conferences,” revealed Sanjay Nagalia, chief operating officer at IDeaS.
“Demand360 is TravelClick’s most comprehensive market intelligence product, and being able to provide our customers with IDeaS price optimisation and forecasting capabilities will immediately improve performance and provide hoteliers with better insights to make smarter business decisions.”
TravelClick and IDeaS have been long-time partners, and many of TravelClick’s other products are already integrated with IDeaS’ solutions.
The initial testing phase of the integration will last up to 12 months, and the two companies said they expect the integrated solution to be commercially available in early 2016.
