Lucky Air, which is based in the Chinese city of Kunming, will expand its route map in Southeast Asia this summer with the launch of two new routes.

Commencing on 29 June 2016, the airline will launch three weekly flights (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from Kunming’s Changshui International Airport to Kota Kinabalu. This will mark Lucky Air’s first destination in Malaysia and the first direct connection between the two cities.

Then on 8 July, the carrier will launch three weekly flights (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from Kunming to Bangkok. Bangkok will become the carrier’s fourth destination in Thailand, following Koh Samui, Phuket and Krabi.

Lucky Air will deploy its Airbus A320 aircraft on both routes.
