The Grand Nikko Bali hotel will be rebranded as a Hilton, following the signing of a new management agreement.

Hilton Worldwide secured the contract in a deal with the hotel’s owners, PT Caterison Sukses. As a result, the 408-room Nusa Dua resort will now reopen as the Hilton Bali on 1 December 2016.

“We are deeply committed to expanding our presence in Indonesia, both by introducing more brands from our portfolio of 13 brands as well as entering into new locations where we may not currently be operating,” said Guy Phillips, Hilton’s senior vice president of development for Asia & Australasia.

“Today’s announcement underscores both the Hilton brand’s strength in this market as well as our management capability to drive exceptional experiences for both guests and owners. In partnership with PT Caterison Sukses, the Hilton Bali will be a strong addition to our portfolio.”

Set on Bali’s south coast, the new Hilton Bali will offer 389 rooms and 19 one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. Facilities will include five F&B outlets, four inter-connected swimming pools, a children’s lagoon pool, three tennis courts, a fitness centre, and more than 3,700m² of event space including two ballrooms.

Hilton Bali will become the third Hilton property in Bali, joining the Conrad Bali and Hilton Garden Inn Bali.
