Singapore-based hospitality group, SilverNeedle, has announced a deal with Australian wholesale funds manager, QIC Global Real Estate (QIC GRE).
It will bring a new iteration of the NEXT Hotels portfolio to 80 Collins Street, Melbourne.The proposed 4.5 star, 300 room hotel marks QIC’s first venture into hotel investment.
QIC’s development at 80 Collins Street has an approximate development value of AUD 110 million (USD 79 million) and will deliver 45,000 square meters of commercial space, 9,000 square meters of retail space.
It aims to create a vibrant destination that embraces the history and character of the area while incorporating world-class modern features.
