Norwegian Cruise Line chooses Cruise Club as Indian agent

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) has appointed Cruise Club as preferred sales agent (PSA) in India.

Cruise Club will now represent the company’s two premium brands, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The appointment marks the continued expansion of NCLH’s operations in Asia, following the recent launch of the company’s first offices in China.

“India is a significant growth market for the cruise industry and we are delighted to partner with an agent offering extensive insight into the local market,” said Steve Odell, senior vice president and managing director of Asia Pacific at NCLH.

“Cruise Club’s expertise [is] ideal for the Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands and we are looking forward to collaborating to create memorable voyages for discerning Indian travellers, beginning with the 2016-17 season.”

Tarique Hussain, co-founder of Cruise Club, commented; “We’re excited to become the preferred partner in India for both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Similarly, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, an inclusive luxury cruising experience, featuring fine wines, spirits and shore excursions in every port, as well as all-suite accommodation an personalised service, is matched to selective clientele.”

Hussain also noted that with expert Indian chefs aboard all the ships, the specific culinary preferences and dietary requirements of Indian guests will be catered for.
