SkyTeam has launched discounted fares on its Go Round the World product. The alliance is offering 10% discount off tickets up to 26,000 miles purchased between 23 January and 31 March 2014. Tickets must be bought seven days in advance and travel must be completed within six months. Travel must commence by 30 June 2014 and have between three to five stopovers.

Virgin Holidays has a 23% saving on a seven-night skiing break in Vermont. The week-long holiday in Stowe starts from £599 per person, saving £176 each based on two adults sharing a standard room. Flights from Heathrow to Boston are included plus room-only accommodation at the 3V Ye Old England Inne, care hire and all taxes and surcharges. Price based on departure on 11 March 2014.

Urban Adventures is offering travellers to go behind-the-scenes of the Rio Carnival in four weeks. Its new Rio Samba Experience will take in rehearsals at the Salgueiro Samba School to meet dancers, practice some moves and learn percussion. The add-on option takes place on Saturday evening in February for £103 and also includes a cocktail and guide.

The Residence Mauritius has launched a new all-inclusive package for one or two-week stays. The package includes all food and drink as well as watersports such as water-skiing, windsurfing, pedal boats, canoeing and kayaking. A personal butler and the minibar are also included, with packages starting from £1, 980 per person in a Colonial Garden View Room.

Asda Travel Money has announced a sale on currencies for some of the top ski destinations. Starting on Tuesday at 8am, the supermarket will offer better rates on the Euro, US Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Swiss Franc, Norwegian Krone and Bulgarian Lev. The sale will finish on Friday 7 February at 8am. Customers can order currency online or over the phone and pick up at a Travel Money bureau, or can have them delivered for free if they order more than £500.
